Success at the PSLE requires 3 key ingredients

#1: The Right Support

The first ingredient to success at the PSLE is having the right support. Without support, children can struggle to understand complex concepts and may not have access to the resources they need to prepare adequately for the exam. At Genius Plus Academy, we provide the right support to ensure your child is fully prepared for the PSLE. Our small class sizes, with a cap of 6 students per class, allow our experienced tutors to provide individual attention and quickly identify and address any concept gaps or issues that students may be struggling with. Our tutors assign supplementary questions that target areas of weakness, allowing your child to work on these concepts and improve their understanding.

In addition, our learning management system with recorded lessons provides your child with the ability to review and replay specific sections of lessons, which can be extremely useful for revision. Our top-notch materials, developed by Mrs Eileen Toh, a former school teacher and a Masters graduate in Education from NIE, and Mr JY Wong, a former school teacher and top PSLE achiever, provide a diverse range of questions that are likely to come out in the PSLE. We are always in communication with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and advise on how we can best support them. With our expert support and resources, your child will be fully prepared to perform to the best of their ability on the PSLE.

#2: Structure & Consistency

You don't get talented at playing the piano by occasional practice. Neither would you gain mastery of a language when you don't speak the language on a day to day basis. Roger Federer did not become world number 1 from playing casual tennis with his friends. Becoming good at something requires putting in the hours. Something we believe in here is ensuring that our students consistently put in the work over an extended period of time & through a structured revision programme throughout the entire course of study here. Every single lesson from the first day they step into our classes all the way till their national examinations has been intricately planned with care. They are designed and gamed for exam success - drawing on our knowledge and experience from teaching thousands of students over the years. We provide weekly customized homework assignments based on your child's individual strengths and weaknesses.

#3: Subject Mastery

The third and final ingredient to success at the PSLE is exceptional mastery of the subject. To achieve the highest possible PSLE score, your child must have a deep understanding of complex concepts and the ability to handle challenging, critical thinking questions. We understand the importance of mastery, and we are dedicated to helping your child achieve exceptional PSLE results.

Our experienced teachers have conducted extensive research and have identified the 8 types of questions that frequently appear on the PSLE. By mastering these types of questions, your child will have a strong foundation and be well-prepared to tackle more challenging concepts. However, to achieve an AL1, your child needs exceptional mastery of the subject and the ability to handle curveball questions that are specifically designed to set apart average students from exceptional ones.

That's why we have produced more than 40 workbooks, split into multiple volumes for each topic tested in the PSLE. These workbooks contain a diverse range of questions and answers, designed to challenge your child and ensure they are truly prepared for the exam. In each lesson, our experienced tutors not only ensure that key concepts are taught and complex concepts are broken down but also include a "one more thing" at the end of each lesson, which is a challenging question related to the topic. By constantly pushing and challenging our students, we help stretch them to reach an exceptional level of mastery, preparing them to achieve an AL1 and excel on the PSLE.
